Every effort has been made to represent our hat, fascinators and veils accurately but due to the natural qualities of the materials used, some variations in colour or shape may occur. Unfortunately K J Millinery cannot accept any responsibility for any variations in the appearance of the colour/hue due to the computer equipment or software used by our clients.
All prices quoted are in pounds sterling. The price agreed at the time of order is based on the specifications of the client at the time. If these specifications change and additional materials, embellishment and/or work are required, the price of the headpiece will increase in accordance with the added materials and time taken on the headpiece.
You can make payment by the following methods: Cheque, paypal, bank transfer and cash on collection. Unfortunately we cannot accept Credit/Debit card payment at this time, however you can use your card with paypal if you so wish.
For commissions of bespoke custom made items a minimum deposit of 50% of the outstanding balance will be required before we begin to create your headpiece. For all other headpieces a £20.00 deposit will be required. Deposits are none refundable.
All items are carefully wrapped in tissue paper for postage and are presented in a black and white hat, fascinator or veil box. Additional hat or fascinator boxes can be purchased at £6.50 Large, £5.50 Medium and £4,50 Small.
All items will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, postage starts from £6.55 – £7.90 each item is individually priced and will be detailed prior to purchase. Parcels sent by special delivery are fully insured within the UK up to the value of £500.00 Combined postage is offered on multiple purchases; please contact us for postage costs.
We do post internationally, please contact us for postage cost overseas.
An express service is available. Your hat, fascinator or veil can be made and delivered to you within 3 working days for an express fee of £30.00. This service is only available in the UK. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
K J Millinery aims to exceed your expectations. Due to the bespoke nature of our designs, where each individual item is created specifically for a client, refunds are only offered in the unlikely event of the piece being faulty. Refunds are given at our discretion, provided that the item is returned in its original condition within 7 days of receipt and prior to your wedding or occasion date. All postal and packaging charges will remain the responsibility of the client, no postage costs will be refunded for the sale or return of goods. Any returns must be previously arranged with us, either by telephone or email, in order for it to be valid. Orders placed and confirmed by deposit can be cancelled in writing providing no work has commenced on the piece. Deposits are non-refundable if work has commenced prior to notice of cancellation, the full payment becomes due. We do our best to delight every client and therefore exchanges can be offered at our discretion. This does not affect your Statutory Rights. K J Millinery is not liable for failure to deliver goods due to circumstances beyond our control.
