All creations at K J Millinery are designed and created by Award Winning Milliner and Fabulous Fascinators Author Kerry Jane Aston. Kerry studied millinery in Wolverhampton and has since then developed her own distinctive style.
Each headpiece is a unique one off original, hand-crafted combining traditional millinery methods and modern creative techniques. Kerry uses time honoured materials such as straw and sinamay with the trimmings of beautiful feathers, handmade silk flowers and vintage jewelry. Each aspect of the design process is client-led, from colour, materials to embellishments to match your outfit or theme so you can be assured you will own a beautifully handmade and totally unique.

Kerry’s work has featured in well known publications, such as Vogue, Conde Nast Brides and the Daily Mail, show-cased at The National Wedding Show, worn to weddings, christenings and race meets such as Royal Ascot. In May 2012 Kerry was awarded the National Learning Through Craft Award during Adult Learners Week supported by Niace. The award was in recogntion of the outstanding work and success Kerry has achieved since launching K J Millinery. In july 2012 Kerry’s first book Fabulous Fascinators a beautiful book detailing how to create 14 fascinators from scratch was published.
K J Millinery is located in the West Midlands and provides a bespoke service with outreach both nationally and internationally.
